Here's a photo (taken w/ my NEW Mother's Day digital camera) of our latest and last foyer display for the year. I needed Aaron's help getting this uploaded, copied, etc., but here it is.

#20 -Rostropovich plays the Prelude from Bach's Cello Suite No. 1

Rostropovich died today in Moscow, so I was especially drawn to this music video.

I looked and looked and looked at Judysbook.com, which is listed under Classified and Business Directories. Waaay too easy to get lost and distracted by coupons, sales, etc. This site was given second place in its category, but I thought that it was too full of advertisements and not very intuitive. No real use in a library setting that I can see.

#18 Zoho Writer

Well, I've been buzzing around a bit in the Zoho writer and Wiki areas trying to get a handle on this concept. I'd like to set up a Wiki for my book group, but I need to work a bit more on that.

#17- PBWiki

I've looked over the pbwiki bit and added my blog address. Would like to learn more about building my own Wiki.

#16 - Wikis

I've read something at most of the suggested sites on the blog. Now that I've learned something new, I'm seeing or hearing about wikis and Wikipedia all over the place, on t.v., the radio, and in print media. I like the self-editing/self-policing part of wikis as another way of organizing and sharing information, and I can see how book groups, for one, might use a wiki to communicate and share thoughts w/in a library website.
